7 DEVOLUTION PROPOSALS UPDATE

Councillors to discuss the Chichester City Council’s response to the Government White Paper re Local Government Devolution and West/East Sussex & Brighton & Hove’s councils’ acceptance onto the Priority Devolution Programme.

8 PLANNING Councillors to note/discuss and approve any appropriate actions needed.

(i) Councillors to review estimates for Planning Consultancy work in respect of the planning proposals/application at the land at Maudlin Farm

(ii) 24/02918/OUTEIA Land At Temple Bar Junction Stane Street Strettington Boxgrove West Sussex, Outline application some matters reserved except Access and Landscaping

9 PAYMENT APPROVAL Councillors to approve:-

(i) March 2025 online payments

10 BANK RECONCILIATION Councillors to approve

(i) Barclays Bank Reconciliation for February 2025

11 COMMUNITY HALL

(i) Cllr Ashcroft will report update on general matters.

(ii) Report from Cllr Plummer regarding the Community Hall development plans.

(iii) VE/VJ80 Day 2025 – Councillors to note the application for a grant for a contribution towards installing a bench (with a plaque) on the village green

12 WESTHAMPNETT VILLAGE GREEN WORKS

(i) Councillors to agree the installation of the Table Tennis tables

(ii) Councillors to note installation of the Notice Board

(iii) Councillors to approve quotation for benches to be installed.

(iv) Councillors to review/approve the quotation to replace the village green light bulbs.

13 PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS

Councillors to review any proposals/quotations received.

14 ALLOTMENTS

Councillors to be updated in regard to the handover of the Allotments from the developer of Madgwick Park to the Parish Council.

Councillors to be updated regarding improvements

16 SPEED INDICATOR DEVICES

Councillors to be updated regarding the installation process.

17 BT TELEPHONE BOX AT WESTERTON

Councillors to discuss the notification from BT to remove the Phone box on Westerton Lane and to discuss the option to “adopt” the Phone Box.
